Hello, good afternoon my name is alexia I come to speak of piercing, I chose this theme becausr the perforations were created for a long time until today well I will talk about what they are, how they are, who created them and how we get to use them until these days. A piercing is a piercing done in the body with a needle. Then, a piece of jewelry is placed inside the hole. The most frequently pierced body parts are the ears, nostrils and navel. Oral piercings, include those of the lips, cheeks and tongue. In some tribes of Borneo, for example, perforations were made in the region of the male genitalia and the young men had bone implants in the glands . In some culturales, piercings is associated with decorative techniques, such as tattoos, the placement of rings on the neck or rings and ribbons to compress the genitals, or religious practices. Thus, followers of certain traditional Asian religions perfom a ritual piercinh on the cheeks and tongue to testify to their trance status. Similar piercing have been documented among sufists, a mystical current of Islam and some variants of Hinduism. But these rituals or ceremonies were aslo common among the Mayan nobles, who pierced their tongues and genitals as part of a bloody ritual, while the faithful devotees pierced their skin at religious festivals. Through these practices they intended to break the limits of the ego and trancead reaching other states of consciousness. The American Indians shelared the same mystical concept and performed ritual dances suspended by means of contraptions that crossed the skin. Types of facial piercing  Anti-eyebrow piercing.
