- When a comparative adjective is used?
- We normally use a comparative adjective when we want to make a comparison between two people or objects.
- When we use short adjectives, we add the letters "er" at the end of the word to make a comparison.
Also we change the letter "y" for the letter "i" if necessary.
When the adjective has a single vowel and it ends with a consonant letter the latter is added once more.
