Day of the Dead
  1. The Day of the Dead is a popular Mexican celebration to honor the deceased. It takes place on November 2, although it starts to be celebrated from the first day.
    1. On the Day of the Dead several activities are carried out, such as: offering, catrinas parades, literary calaveritas, eating bread of the dead, among other things.
      1. In the offering they usually use various elements such as: food, personal items, flowers, aromas, bow, among others.
        1. It is celebrated mainly on 1 and 2 November, although in some places it starts from October 31, coinciding with the Catholic celebrations of All Souls' Day and All Saints Day.
          1. Its origins predate the arrival of the Spaniards, who had a unitary conception of the soul, a conception that prevented them from understanding that the natives attributed to each individual several psychic entities and that each of them had, at death, a different destiny.
