Light and Dark
- Use other opposites
such as opposite colours
in the colour wheel to
represent light and dark
- Considering some
images will be in the
dark, I will need to
use high ISO and
Aperture to capture
more light
- Use natural light rather than
lightbulbs, torches, etc.
Perhaps natural light that
can be seen in the dark such
as moonlight and stars - this
could lead to
astrophotography
- Neon paint on
human faces or
everyday objects
could create good
effects
- Explore bioluminescence in
animals such as fireflies;
this would create
interesting results. Random
movement + low shutter
speed = interesting light
trail results
- Over-emphasised light seeping from windows
that is being blocked by a human or object. The
emphasis could represent different meanings but
could be replicated in Photoshop. It would also
show good experimentation.
- Experimentation in photographs with
light sources shining through
transparent objects such as glass,
plastic or water, etc.
- Change the hues (and
incorporate) hues of different
lights by using tools such as
lightroom to avoid linear photographs
