Layer 3 Functions

3. Routers build their IP routing table in two ways, through static configuration or with dynamic routing protocols
TCP/IP Model
1. The TCP/IP network layer completes functions in a TCP/IP network by defining how to forward packets betweek any two hosts
2. The TCP/IP network layer delivers data from end to end through the network
3. Every new term, standard, protocol, and address is related to some physical layer or data link layer
