Blood
  1. Blood is made up of plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets
    1. Plasma
      1. is a yelowish liquid which is 90% water. It carries the nutients and waste products
      2. Red blood cells
        1. give blood its colour. They carry oxygen and carbon dioxide
        2. White blood cells
          1. fight infection. They surround and absorbe germs which enters the body
          2. Platelets
            1. When the body is losing blood because of a cut in the skin, join together and helps stop the bleeding
          3. Blood is transported through three types of blood vessels
            1. Arteries
              1. Carry blood from the heart to the rest of the body.This blood contains oxygen.
              2. Veins
                1. Carry the blood back to the heart. This blood contains carbón dióxido
                2. Capillaries
                  1. Are tiny blood vessels which connect the arteries and the veins. They have very thin walls so gases and nutrientes can easily pass through them to the vells
