THE STONE AGE
1. PALEOLITHIC
  1. It started 2.5 millions of years ago. It ended about 10.000 years ago.
  2. People were nomadic
  3. They hunted and fished
  4. They discovered how to make FIRE
  5. They lived in caves or huts.
  6. They made tools of stone, wood and animal bones.
2. NEOLITHIC
  1. It started about 10.000 years ago. It ended about 7.000 years ago.
  2. People discovered how to cultivate seeds -> the beginning of AGRICULTURE.
  3. They cultivated crops and raised animals.
  4. People became SEDENTARY.
  5. They lived in huts in VILLAGES.
  6. People started to exchange products. This is the beginning of TRADE.
  7. Some people were artisans others were farmers.
THE BRONZE AND IRON AGE
1. It started about 7.000 years ago. It ended about 5.000 years ago.
2. People discovered how to make objects from METAL.

3. They melted metal to make tools, jewellery and weapons.
4. Villages got BIGGER and had WALLS to defend them.
5. They invented the WHEEL. They could transport things more easily.
6. People worked as farmers, artisans, metalworkers, soldiers and traders.
7. The CELTS lived in the north and the west of the Iberian Peninsula.
8. The IBERIANS lived in the south and east of the Iberian Peninsuila
  1. They made sculptures from stone
    1. MEGALITHS large stone monuments
It started when humans first appeared and started to use tools. It ended when people invented writing.
