                      1. 186,000 Children died of diarrheal diseases in India

                            1. Less money spent feeding more people
                  2. Water used for cooking and cleaning
                    1. IMPROVING STANDARD OF LIVING
                    2. Empowers local people, especially women
                      1. Taught how to run/ maintain pumps and how to charge for it
                        1. Increased income
                          1. More money for food etc.
                  3. Mainly Operates in INDIA, SHANTY TOWNS such as DHARAVI
