Product/Practice
- Pick a product or practice to collaboratively
analyze and focus on.
- Allow Educators the opportunity to select products and
materials to use in classroom.

- 2. Prepare for success
- Create a plan to plan out logistics, where and when
a meeting will take place, and who will attend. Be
sure to have expectations, resources, agendas, and
lesson plan all complete and ready.
- Prepare and disseminate what was
learned, Encourage other teammates to
share and practice
- 3. Explain the product and practice.
- Team members must be knowledgeable about what is being analyzed.
Sufficient time is required for reflection allowing discussion tinme,
questioning time, and time to review sample work, practice or product.

obtain an objective picture
- 4. Examine Product
- PLC members need to be professional when
critiquing and questioning items being
reviewed. Discussion needs to focus on what
was successful, what needs to be changed,
and next steps to be taken.

- PLC team meets afte the teacher begins implementation of recommendations to
examine the plans impact on student learning. Team memebers will share
knowledge gained from the process.

move forward improving practices or
