- What is Routine Task
- Routine tasks are those that are done on a regularly. There are
some tasks that a business must to do on a regular basis if it is to
survive.
- What is Non-Routine Task
- Non-routine tasks are by their nature unpredictable and can cause problems to
businesses because of a lack of resources available to carry them out.
- What are decision makers
- Someone who takes the views of the employees and are responsible for the decision making, usually the managers or owners.
- What is planning
- Planning needs to take place regarding all the resources of the business so that
there are no shortages - for example, stock must be available continuously, and there
must be enough staff to enable the business to be carried out.
- Consequences of poor planning
- Poor planning can lead to much wastage of time and resources and ultimately to business failure.
- What to consider when planning for a meeting
- Who needs to be invited to attend, what will be needed in terms of the meeting environment, the
correct people are invited and they have a mandate to make any decisions necessary.
- What is agenda
- A 'notice of meeting' gets sent to those who are expected to attend. This sets out
what is going to be discussed at the meeting and allows people to consider their
views or gather information before any discussions take place.
