  1. the notion of causation is an error in human reasoning
    1. causation comes from tendancy to expect things to happen
      1. because of custom and habit
    2. We witness constant conjunction of events

    1. we never actually see causation itself
    2. We see a ball come into contact with another
      1. a sound, the other ball moves away
2. Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle
  1. we can't measure speed and position at the same time
3. Kant
  1. We are conditioned to understand reality through cause & effect
    1. doesn't mean noumena is deterministic
Law of universal causation
1. there is a nomoligical connection between every cause and effect
2. Everything has a set of causes
  1. nothing but what has happened could of happened
3. Humans are material
  1. therefore are affected by material laws
