   • ludendorffwould have likely succeeded and so they would have broken stalemate and had a high chance of winning

   • Widespread starvation they had mobilised too quickly in the first place failure of the brusilov offencive lack of technology new government left - bought into power by the Bolshevik revolution

      • the Ludendorff offensive was Germanys attempt to break the stalemate it looked as though it was going to work german troops got too far ahead for their supplies - the beginning of the 100 days the 100 days - when british troops advanced forwards and won

         • attempted to break stalemate intended to draw forces away from the channel that was essential for their supply routes and then attack them Britain and france knew it was coming Germany suffered many injuries from irreplaceable units took longer because of USA

         • last 100 days of the offensive where British forces advanced forwards and won

         Anmerkungen:

         • germans moved too fast for supplies germans suffered a lot of injuries in irreplaceable units USA joined the allied sides and helped prolong it, they could supply fresh troops and new equipment, compared to Germany's weary troops.
