PRESENT PERFECT TENSE

This tense is used to talk about an action which began in the past but has continued into the present moment.
Examples of how to use it
1. I have known James for 4 0r 5 years.
  Anmerkungen:
  - To express situations that started in the past and are still true.
2. She has never studied Japanese.
3. She has been the director of that company since 2007
4. I have been to england

  - To expresss things you have done in your life.
5. I have lost my keys.

  - To express present result.
6. I have some bad news. I have lost my job.
7. Jhon has missed the bus, so he will be late.
8. I can't play football tonight, I have hurt my leg.

  - To describe recently completed actions whcih are important now.
9. I have been to Paris three times.
  Anmerkungen:
  - To express the number of times you have done something.
10. How many times have you tried to call her?
11. I have known Julie for ten years.

  - To describe unfinished actions or situations.
12. We have lived here here since 2004.
STRUCTURE
1. Affirmative Sentence
  1. Subject+have/has+past participle
    1. EXAMPLES
      1. I have not tried sushi before.
      2. I have tried sushi before.
      3. Have/has+subject+past participle?
        Interrogative sentence
      4. Have you tried sushi before?
2. Negative Sentence
  1. Subject+have not/has not+past participle
It is used to describe
1. An action or situation that began sometime in the past and continues into the present time.
2. An action performed during a period that has not yet completed.
3. An action that finished in the very recent past, expressed by 'just'.
4. A repeated activity in an unespecified time period between the past and the current time.
5. An action when the time is not important.
