Embargoes in products and countries so they cannot sell and there is not right to license. Total embargoes US-> Cuba, Irán, North Korea, Sudan Syria. Limited embargoes-> Burma, Congo, Iraq, Liberia, Libya, Somalia, Yemen, and Zimbabwe.

                                                            • A tax collected on the value of the goods exported. (Mostly on commodities) Balance of trade.

                                                              • A limit on the quantity of a particular commodity that can be legally exported. Vs scared sources, control prices,

                                                              1. Certificate of origin

                                                                Anmerkungen:

                                                                • Signed by the exporter´s Chamber of Commerce, that attests that the goods originated in the country in which the exporter is located. Determine the tariff applied to the goods.
                                                                1. Certificate of Manufacture

                                                                  Anmerkungen:

                                                                  • A certificate, signed by the exporter´s chamber of commerce, that attests that the goods were manufactured in the country in which the exporter is located.
                                                                  1. Certificate of inspection

                                                                    Anmerkungen:

                                                                    • A certificate provided by an independent company, that attests that the goods conform to the description contained in the exporter´s invoice. -Authenticity and accuracy of the shippment.
                                                                    1. Pre-shipment inspection

                                                                      Anmerkungen:

                                                                      • The inspection conducted by an independent company, that allows the determination that the goods conform to the description contained in the exporter´s invoice.  Principal company (60-70%) is the Societe Generale de Surveillance SGS of Switzerland.
                                                                    2. Certificate of Analysis

                                                                      Anmerkungen:

                                                                      • Certificate provided by an independent company, that attests that the goods conform to the physical description contained in the exporter´s invoice. (putirity of materials)
                                                                      1. Phyto-Sanitary Certificate

                                                                        Anmerkungen:

                                                                        • A certificate orivided by the agricultural authorities of the exporting country that attests that the agricultural products exported are free of disease and pests. Agricultural products and food stuffs.
                                                                        1. Certificate of Certification

                                                                          Anmerkungen:

                                                                          • Industrial standards for technical characteristics. (Certificate of conformity) A certificate issued by an independent company, that attests that the goods conform to the industrial standards of the importing country.

                                                                            • A certificate issued by the exporter, that attests that the goods can be legally soldin the exporting country.
