ACT Science
  1. The science section doesn't test any science at all.
    1. You just need the graphs and charts presented.
      1. 7 passages, no calculator.
        1. 35 minutes, 40 questions.
          1. 3 Passage types
            1. Data representation: 3 of each type, questions on each, one or more charts.
              1. Research summary: experiments and data collected from them. 3 passages, 6 questions.
                1. Conflicting viewpoint: one passage, 7 questions. look like reading ACT, scientists arguing.
      2. Conflicting Viewpoint: Have to read, only 1 passage, and 7 questions.

        2. 4 question types.
          1. Straight from the chart: pick out info from chart/graph.
            1. Spot the trend: Patterns.
              1. Scientific method: how a experiment was preformed.
                1. Scientific theories: Usually shown in conflicting viewpoint.
            2. Research summary passage:
              1. 3 passages, 6 questions each, and paragraphs with graphs and charts.
                1. Don't read the paragraphs or diagrams!
                  1. Analyze charts and graphs.

                      1. Are there trends?
                        1. How do the labels and charts relate?

                                  1. 3 passages, 5 questions each, and charts and graphs.
                                    1. The harder the chart, the easier the questions.
                                      1. Don't read the paragraphs or diagrams.
                                        1. Really analyze the charts and graphs.
