Description: The student
groups will select one
change from their list and
break into smaller groups
of three. One subgroup will
be for the change, the other
against it. The groups will

organize their ideas and
participate in a formal
debate.
Assessment: Debate Rubric/Self and Peer Assessment:
The students will be assessed using a rubric for debate
participation, as well as complete a peer assessment for
their subgroups and a self assessment.
