  1. The Weimar republic was the government who ran Germany after WW1

      1. Elected every 7 years
        1. Controlled armed forces
          1. Stayed out of the way of day to day running of the counrty
            1. In emergency could make laws without going through the Reichstag

                                  1. This system helped small parties to have a say in parliament

                                    1. All men and women over 20 could vote
                                    2. Adults had equal rights
