Zusammenfassung der Ressource
cell
division
- INTERPHASE
- also known as resting
phase .cell preparing for
division.
- G1 Phase
- interval between mitosis and DNA replication
- S phase
- DNA replication. Amount of DNA doubles
Anmerkungen:
- there is not increase in the CHROMOSOME NUMBER.
- G2 phase
- proteins are synthesized in preparation for mitosis
- Quiescent stage
- metabolically active but no longer proliferate
Anmerkungen:
- some cells like heart cells do not divide.these cells exit G1 phase to enter an inactive stage called quiescent stage.
- M PHASE ( MITOSIS)
- Prophase
- Replicated chromosomes
condense and become visible
Anmerkungen:
- nucleolus and nuclear membrane disappear. Microtubules are assembles into mitotic spindle.Centrioles move to opposite poles.
- Metaphase
- chromosomes line up at the equator
of the spindle : METAPHASE plate
Anmerkungen:
- spindle fibres get
attached to
kinetochores of
chromosomes.
- Anaphase
- centrosomes split
and chromatids
separate
Anmerkungen:
- chromatids move to
opposite poles.
- Telophase
- chromosomes cluster at
opposite poles
Anmerkungen:
- nuclear envelope assembles around the chromosome clusters.
nucleolus and golgi complex reform.
- also known as
EQUATIONAL DIVISION
