                              • Humans are naturally rational creatures. We can rely on ourselves and resolve situations ourselves. Belive in freedom and individualism. government should be as limited as possible- consent to gov-social contract belive in deomcracy

                                • Humans are naturally social and co-operative creatures. Believe society works best through co-operation. Eqaulity is the fundamental principle of socialism. sociey works better without class divisions.

                                    • social justice- distribute wealth for eqaulity
                                    • acheive more working together
                                    • support equality and tackling 5 giants of want (poverty) disease, ignorance, sqaulor, idleness-Beveridge report
                                    • social democrat compromise- capitalism best to generate wealth but not to distribute it.
