an NHPA?
- Define: a state of well-being in which the
individual realises his or her abilities, are
able to cope with the normal pressures of
life, can work productively and fruitfully and
contribute to his or her community.
- Promoting and restoring mental health is the primary focus.
- mainly caused by chemical balances
within the brain that can alter the way
people perceive the world
- symptoms range - severe or mild.

most common non fatal BOD, rates have
increased, can impact other diseases and
has a stigma attached to it.
