    1. 1. Swab inside cheek with disposable swab.
      1. 2. Transfer the sample to the slide with a drop of water.
        3. Apply the cover slip (45º) and examine it.
        Stained

        2. Transfer the sample to the slide.
        3. Cover it with a drop of methylene blue solution.
        4. Apply the cover slip (45º) and examine it.

    1. Unstained
      1. 3. Apply the coverslip and examine.
        1. Separate 2 fleshy leaves and peel off the epidermis between them.
        2. Put the piece into water on the slide.
      2. Stained
        3. Apply the coverslip and examine.
        2. Put the piece in the slide with iodine solution.
        1. Separate 2 fleshy leaves and peel off the epidermis between them.
