come to the conclusion that
woman get sexualised when their
gender and female sexiness has
nothing to do with that particular
scene or film.
- As an audience, we can look at
characters in ways such as:
- How females look at females.
- How males look at females.
- How females look at themselves.
- The concept of male gaze
theory is how the audience
view the characters that are
presented.
- The gaze can be directed to people who
are the same gender, it is not always
sexual.
- In films with a prominant male gaze, women are forced to identify with
a male first , having to watch narrative in a secondary role.
