Anmerkungen:

  • Monotheistic means believe in only 1 god and here are 2 religons that are momotheistic.

    • Judaism was the first religon that is monotheistic and is a religon without missionary instead they teach their kids from young about Judaism
    1. The Torah

      Anmerkungen:

      • The Torah is a book that historians use to understand Jewish people, The Torah is a book that was has all history from ancient Jewish time.
      1. Abraham

        Anmerkungen:

        • Abraham "The Father of Hebrews" is very important to Jews because Abraham is the person that told everyone about a momotheistic religon. Abraham is very important because he got people to start believeing him but also got shamed by other people because of his belifes. I think that Abraham is very brave because he told everyone abput this religon.
        1. Moses

          Anmerkungen:

          • Moses is very important because he is the person that freed the slaves in Egypt by parting the red sea. Moses leaded the slaves to a forest but they got lost for 40 years but when Moses got lost for 40 years he found the 10 commandments, the 10 commandments are 10 laws that Jews live by.
          1. King David and Solomon

            Anmerkungen:

            • Once Moses escaped from Egypt with the slaves Moses brought the Slaves to a forest for 40 years well after that they found a city and turned the city into a united kingdom and king David (the king of the city at that time) allowed Judaism to take over his kingdom. Solomon is King David's son and after King David left the thrown Solomon took over.
            1. Solomon Builds the Great Temple of Jerusalem
            2. The 10 Commandments

              Anmerkungen:

              • The 10 Commandments are 10 laws that all Jews live by.
            3. Abraham's Sacrifice

              Anmerkungen:

              • In the Torah it says that Abraham wanted a kid so he kept on praying for many years after that many years Abraham's wife got pregnant and they had a kid, God wanted to test Abrahams faith so God told Abraham to kill Isaac (Abraham's son is Isaac) Abraham love his son a lot but also wanted to serve god so Abraham went to a hill to kill Isaac but right before he was going to kill Isaac an angle appeared telling Abraham that he didn't need to kill Isaac.
        2. christianity

          Anmerkungen:

          • Christanity is a lot like Judaism but the difference is that in Christanity people believe that Jesus is the Messiah
          1. Judea: The Birthplace of Christianity
            1. The Birth of Jesus

              Anmerkungen:

              • No one knows exactly when Jesus was born. Our modern calendar dates the start of the Common Era from the supposed year of Jesus's birth. However, after careful study, historians now believe that Jesus's birth occurred around 6 B.C.E., during the reign of King Herod.
              1. The Life and Death of Jesus

                Anmerkungen:

                • According to the Gospels, Jesus began preaching in Galilee, an area in present-day Israel. Initially, he preached in synagogues, or Jewish places of worship. The crowds that gathered to hear him grew larger, so Jesus began teaching in open areas—in the street, on hillsides, and by the Sea of Galilee.
