- Mitosis
Anmerkungen:
- Associated with growth and repair, asexual reproduction. Creates genetically identical cells. Mutations can occur - cells divide uncontrollably which turns into tumours.
- Meiosis
Anmerkungen:
- Only happens to make sex cells (gametes). Produces haploid gametes. Associated with sexual reproduction. Gametes are not genetically identical. Same as Mitosis with extra division to produce 4 haploid gametes.
