- They would do this be reclaiming all of the land that they had lost due to the treaty.

- Didn't feel they were to blame

- Germany thought that they weren't the only ones to blame for WWI, they thought other countries played a part too.
- They had no say in the Treaty

- The government who signed the treaty were not actually the ones who had fought in the war.
- Army limits made them vulnerable
- They feared poverty and starvation

- They thought that the reparations were much higher than what they could afford and thought that they wouldn't be able to pay them.
