Ammonia
- Reversible Reactions
- The products react to re-form the reactants

rate of the forward reaction is the same
as the reverse reaction + the products
remain at the same concentration

endothermic reaction to use up the extra heat.

- Raising the pressure encourages the
side with the least volume/gas molecules
- Lowering the pressure encourages the
side with the most volume/gas molecules.

a condenser and liquifies
- Unused nitrogen is recycled
- Catalysts speed up both the forward
and backward reactions equally, so
reaches equilibrium quicker but still
ends up with the same amount
