        • -part of the radical wing of the liberal party but broke away in 1886 due to his opposition of home rule -Leading figure in Liberal Unionists allied with Conservatives (resigned from Balfour's government)
        1. H.H. Asquith

          Anmerkungen:

          • -Succeeded Campbell-Bannerman as prime minster in 1908 until 1916 -Replaced by Lloyd George in 1916 due to the fact he was not making changes that were needed during the war
          1. D. LLoyd George

            Anmerkungen:

            • -Became prominent for opposition to Boer war -President of Board of Trade (liberal) in 1906 -Chancellor of the Exchequer in 1908
