- Labratory Experiment
- Particepants were shown a set of TRIGRAMS.
- They were asked to recall the trigrams after a delay time of either 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18 seconds.
- During the delay the partiepants were set to a 'distration task', tis was to prevent rehursal.
- Tey were asked to ount baakwards from 3. This is called the 'Brown-Peterson techniques'.
- AIM
- To find out id the duration of STM is 20 seonds.
- FINDINGS
- After 3 Seconds = 80% accratcy
- After 18 Seconds = Less than 10% accuratcy
- After 6 Seconds = 50% acuratcy
- CONCLUSION
- There is more acuratcy in recall the shorter the amount of time.
