4. If you use someones OC wihout permission you can be taken to court by the creator and face a large fine

1. Damages software
2. copies itself from file to file
3. Attach itself to email
4. damages files on hard disk
5. How to prevent them
  1. Do not transfer data via USB to a computer that has not got virus prediction software
    1. Do not open unknown emails
      1. Don't download data from unknown sites
        Run virus checks frequently
        Software updates
        Back ups
Hacking
1. Gaining access to unauthorised computers
2. Hackers may take/delete data
3. Plant viruses
4. Must have security on computer to prevent hackers access
  1. Passwords
  2. Proper log off
  3. Proper shut down
  4. Encryption
  5. Firewall
Online safety
1. DONT give out personal info
2. meeting people online = dangerous have parents permission + be present
3. Be wary when accepting emails/messages
4. Encryption prevents interception

Health risks
1. Back/neck strain
  1. Adjustable chairs
2. Eye strain
  1. Correct distance away from monitor
3. RSI
  1. Take frequaent short breaks
Safety risks
1. Trailing wires can trip people
  1. risk of fire/electrocution by bare/wore wires
    1. Unsecure equipment (on shelves may fall)
      1. Food and drink near computers (stickiness + spillage)
      2. Never have a water source in a computer room
