- there are two equations we can use to calculate the speed of waves
- speed (m/s) = Distance (m) / time (s)
- speed = frequency (Hz) x Wavelength (m)

- Distance = Speed x time
- Time = distance / speed
- Wavelength = Speed/ frequency
- Frequency = Speed / Wavelength
- A = Amplitude- the heigh of a wave from the middle
- W = Wavelength= the length of one
wave. measure from peak to peak!!
- F = Frequency = number of waves produced per second. unit of frquency is hertz (Hz)
- !!!!the Smaller the wavelengths, the higher the frequency!!!!! the bigger the wavelengths, the lower the frequency~!!!!
