Provincial Looks after each province (territories controlled mostly by federal government) Provincial Leader is called the Premier Members are called Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs)

Are responsible for the following: Education Health Environment/Natural Resources Property and civil rights Highways Marriage Welfare

Municipal Local city, town and district government Local Leader is called the Mayor Members are called Councillors

Are responsible for the following: Animal control Emergency services Garbage and sewage Land-use planning Public transit Water
