In the year 1066, English King Edward the Confessor, who was about 64 years old, was very sick and a frail old man. Now the Throne of England would be passed on to his son. One problem: he didn't have a son, and he died on the 5th January 1066. Who would be Edward's successor? Well, there were four main people who thought that they should be the next to have possession of the crown...
