PHOTOSYNTESIS

Plants make their own food by photosyntesis. Photosyntesis takes place in the leaves. The plant traps the energy of sunlight to change water and a gas called carbon dioxide into sugar and oxygen. A green chemical called chlorophyl in the leaves makes photosyntesis happens.Plants need four things to make photosyntesis: sunlight, carbon dioxide, water, clorophyll.
