September 7th First off, I want you to write, or explain why you like photography, and what you would like to see improved in your work. I want to also know what your favourite things are to take pictures of, and what style you like from what you’ve seen so far in others work. Now for a few of your favourite things. What are some of your favourite things? (objects, nature, things around you) What is your favourite season? I want you to write three little paragraphs explaining and also showing how different photographs: Convey different messages Create effects Influence personal preference There are several different styles of photography and the all do each of these three. Please use three different photographs per paragraph. Any questions, please ask me. This year, we are going to work extra hard at capturing each detail you love about everyday and the seasons. We’ll have different photography challenges and assignments, as well as some quizzes to keep you on your toes. The first challenge I’ll be presenting to you is the “One Good Photo a Day” challenge. You need to do your very best to take one good photo for 30 days. At the end, we’ll both review them and see how you progressed over the days. Due October 5
