This module critically examines the character vocabulary provided in lesson one of the Standard Course HSK level 1. Chinese characters are deconstructed into their individual components and examined order to promote better memory encoding, longer retention and greater information recall. Lastly, mnemonic devices are provided so as to aid in studying.
