El presente simple en Ingles no es tan simple. Hay algunas cosas que debes saber:

1.- se usa para describir: Hechos, habitos, rutinas o algun hecho que se repite periodicamente.

He aquí algunos ejemplos:

a) Hechos: Water boils at 100° C. El agua hierve a 100°C

The Earth circles the sun La Tierra da vueltas al rededor del sol.

b) Habitos: We play football every sunday. (Nosotros) Jugamos futbol cada domingo.

She usually gets up at 6 O'clock. (Ella) se levanta a las 6 de la mañana.

2.- Se utilizan dos tipos de verbos. El verbo "ser" o "estar" (descriptivos) y los verbos que denotan movimiento (action verbs).

a) con verbo "ser o estar" (To be): I am a student. soy estudiante.

She is my mom. Ella es mi mamá.

b) con otros verbos: I study English at school.

3. Paradigmas de la conjugacion y formas afirmativa, negativa y preguntas.

a) El paradigma de la conjugacion del verbo "To be" en Ingles es:

Forma: Affirmative. Negative

I am I am not

You are You aren't

He is He isn't

She is (adjetivo, profesion, estado emocional, posesivo + familiar) She isn't

It is (adjetivo, estado emocional, posesivo + objeto) It isn't

We are We aren't

You are You aren't

They are They aren't
