When using a flash drive the first last second( first, last, second ) thing you need to do is insert your flash drive into the USB port.
There are many different names for a flash drive. Which one is NOT a flash drive?

jump drive
kick drive
thumb drive
To save work on your flash drive the first thing you do is click on "file" "insert" "view"( "file", "insert", "view" ).
The next step would be to choose save open save as( save, open, save as ) from the drop down menu.
Then you would click on the file name drop down menu view( file name, drop down menu, view ) to choose your flash drive.
Finally you will choose cancel close save( cancel, close, save ).
To properly remove your flash drive you click on the flash drive icon at the upper left bottom right bottom left( upper left, bottom right, bottom left ) of the screen.
It will them ask you if you want to safely remove hardware and eject media. save to documents power down the computer( safely remove hardware and eject media., save to documents, power down the computer )
Now you want to wait for the computer to tell you to go get your teacher that your work is saved that it is now safe to remove hardware( to go get your teacher, that your work is saved, that it is now safe to remove hardware ).
