I just ( rescued, rescud ) a stray cay last night on my way home. It ( was, were ) a difficult task since the poor kitten was ( trapped, traped ) in an inaccessible area. When I ( tried, tryed ) to grab him, he was inactive since one of his paws was ( stuck, stucked ) in the mud. I ( felt, feeled ) a little bit discouraged and impatient because I could see how this inoffensive creature was struggling. Even though the neighborhood is an insecure place, I was ( surprised, surpprised ) by the fact that he had survived this long. Additionally, there are a lot of dishonest and infamous people living here that could have ( hurt, hurted ) the cat. This little kitten is both shy and distrustful since it doesn’t want to be near anybody. I know that this action may have been an imperceptible change in the community, but for me it was one of the most rewarding things I've done in my life. He was unhealthy and thin, but now he is big and strong. What a majestic animal!
