Pixel A minute area of illumination on a display screen, one of many from which an image is composed.
Resolution Resolution is the number of pixels (individual points of color) contained on a display monitor
Colour Depth Color depth, also known as bit depth, is either the number of bits used to indicate the color of a single pixel
Metadata A set of data that describes and gives information about other data.
Vector Graphics Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygons—all of which are based on mathematical expressions—to represent images in computer graphics.
Bitmap Graphics A bitmap graphic is composed of many tiny parts, called pixels, which are often many different colours. It is possible to edit each individual pixel.
