Swash The powerful movement of a breaking wave up to a beach
Tombolo A ridge of sand or shingle joining an island to the mainland
Undercut To cut or wear away the part below or under something
Wave-built terrace A terrace built up from eroded sediments on top of a wave-cut platform
Wave-cut platform A narrow, flat area at the base of a retreating sea cliff, created by the action of waves
