What is Digestion? | It is the process of breaking down food into a use able form and making it's nutrients available. |
Where does Digestion take place? | It takes place in the digestive system. |

What is Gastric Juice? | A mixture of chemicals produced by cells in the stomach wall. |

What is the small intestine? | It is the longest part of your digestive tract. It is up to 6 meters long. |
What is the Duodenum? | It is the first part of the small intestine. |
What is the pancreas? | It is not part of the digestive tract but it is an organ connected to it |
What is the liver? | It is the body's largest internal organ and you cannot survive without it. |
What is Bile? | Bile is a greenish liquid responsible for mechanical digestion of fats. |
What is the Ileum? | It is the lower part of the small intestine is known as the Ileum? |
Describe the large intestine? | It is 1.5 meters long and 6 to 7 cm in diameter, making it shorter but wider than the small intestine. |
What is the anus? | It is a sphincter muscle at the end of the digestive tract. |
