Anthropologists use cultural relativism in their research to make sure they consider all aspects in the child’s environment including culture norms and local traditions to make sure they fully understand all influences | however the UNCRC does not consider such detail. It could also be said that UNCRC promotes a minority world view that childhood is a distinct and different period to adulthood, but children are still entitled to their own views an their rights should be protected and promoted, however this concept is not widely accepted in majority world views so how can the UNCRC be influential globally successful until this view is understood and acknowledged |
