what is a prime number? it is a number greater than 1, whose only two factors are 1 and itself. The first few prime numbers are 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, and 29.
what is a factor? they are numbers that divide exactly into a number. The factors of 12, for example, are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12.
area of a circle? area of a circle is pie r squared (pie r squared, pie r squared)
area of a square, rectangle, rhombus and parallelogram? base x height
are of a triangle and kite? 1/2 base x height
area of a trapezium? add the parallel sides, then half that, times that by the height between them
perimeter? add all the sides
volume of a prism? area of the circle x length
volume of a cuboid? width x length x height
