Frage Antworten
Simplifying Radicals When you are simplifying radicals, you multiply the numbers inside and add the exponents.
Simplifying Radicals You then simplify the result by finding the biggest perfect square (that will go into it as a whole number), and divide the result by that number. You then move the square root of the perfect square on the outside of the box, and leave the other number you multiplied the perfect square to get the original number inside the box
Simplifying Radicals For any variables with exponents, you divide the the exponent by two and depending on what number that is, the variable will be on the inside, outside, or both.
Simplifying Radicals For an even exponent, it will always go on the outside; for a odd exponent higher than 1, it will go on the inside and outside. For odd exponents, you subtract one, divide that number by two, and put that number on the exponent on the outside of the box. You then put one variable on the inside of the box to make up for the one that we subtracted earlier.
