Frage Antworten
What is the equation for finding velocity? V=s/t r=d/t speed/velocity = distance(direction)/time
What is the equation for acceleration? a = (xf-xi)/t acceleration = (final distance - initial distance) / time
What is Newton's 1st Law of Motion? An object at rest remains at rest and an object in motion remains in motion unless acted upon by an external force. Law of inertia.
What is Newton's 2nd Law of Motion? F = ma Force = mass x acceleration
What is Newton's 3rd Law of Motion? Symmetry Principle For every force there is an equal and opposite force.
What is the equation for linear momentum? p = m/v momentum = mass x velocity
What is the difference between Mass and Weight? 1) Mass is a measurement of the amount of matter something contains, while Weight is the measurement of the pull of gravity on an object. 2) Mass is measured by using a balance comparing a known amount of matter to an unknown amount of matter. Weight is measured on a scale. 3) The Mass of an object doesn't change when an object's location changes. Weight, on the other-hand does change with location.
What is the value of (g) on earth? Normally around 9.8 m/s/s although altitude, longitude, latitude, and local structures can change this slightly.
Acceleration of Gravity equation. a = -9.8m/s/t acceleration = earths (g) / time
