How does Mills describe freedom of thought and expression? By depriving just one man of his opinion, we are limiting progression. If the opinion is false, it is also good because it re esablishes what we already know

What is a paternalism policy in relation to harm? Restrictions on peoples freedom which are justified as the person/persons are incapable of giving consent i.e. children, mentally ill, dying. These restrictions are on things that may cause them harm.

What is mediated offence? When a norm or value is offended.
What is negative liberty? A person or group of people who are left alone to do what they want/ be who they want to be, without interference by other people.
What is positive liberty? Being in control of ones life
