• 1 Learn how to identify what part of speech is missing from the sentence. -In order to correctly answer word-form completions, you will need to be able to recognize the part of speech of the missing word or phrase. 2 Understand how different parts of speech are formed. One way to change the part of speech for a word is by adding a different suffix to the root. Learn the common endings used to create each word form in order to quickly identify the part of speech of each answer option.
