Where is it?
The Site of the Dolmens of Antequera represents "an exceptional conception" of the megalithic landscape
It is, in short, one of the first conscious integrations of architecture and monumental landscape of European Prehistory, derived from Neolithic settlers whose origin dates back to the beginning of the sixth millennium BC.
The World Heritage Committee, meeting at the Istanbul Congress Center in Istanbul, as part of its 40th annual meeting, decided that the Dolmens should become part of this list of world heritage and thus recognize the universal value of the megalithic monument of Malaga.
The Site of the Dolmens dates from about 6,000 years ago and was built by the first settlers of what we now know as Andalusia. Whose origin dates back to the beginning of the 6th millennium BC.
