Although stopping on the right is included on the driving test, it's illegal to stop on the right:
at night - unless on a one-way road or a designated parking space
at night - anywhere
in a low emissions zone - at anytime
except on the driving test
During the driving test the examiner will expect you to find a safe place to stop on the right.
During your driving test the examiner will ask you to pull up on the right in a specific location. You will then be asked to:
Drive off again immediately
Reverse for about two car lengths
Reverse for about three car lengths
Answer a 'show me' question relating to the controls
When moving off from the right you must pay particular attention to your left blind spot.
