When an object changes speed we say it accelerates If the velocity of an object changes, it is accelerating
If an object increases its speed we say it is accelerating If an object decreases its speed we say it is decelerating
Acceleration=change in speed/time taken Or Acceleration=final velocity -initial velocity/time taken Can be written as: a=v-u/t The unit for acceleration is m/s(2)
